This is a fine art, advanced cross-stitch design of Flowers, Camelias and Tulips by Henri Fantin-Latour, a French painter best known for his flower paintings and group portraits of Parisian artists and writers. The original painting resides in a private collection. Fantin-Latour's style remained conservative although he befriended several of the young artists who would later be associated with Impressionism. His floral paintings are beautiful and very much in demand. The background and vase in this painting are so interesting, you don't need to get to the flowers to make this a very enjoyable stitching design.
