This advanced fine-art cross stitch design, Vogue Magazine Cover -€“ March 15, 1912, was developed from an illustration created by American illustrator George Wolfe Plank for the July 15, 1914, cover of both the United Kingdom and United States issues of Vogue magazine. The illustration shows an elegant woman in an orange and black paisley gown with a black plumed hat. She is seated on a green striped settee, reading the book whose title announces the March 15, 1912, Vogue Dress Materials Number.
