This advanced fine-art cross stitch design, Two Lovers, Arles, was developed from a painting done by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh in 1888. It was painted at Arles, Bouches-du-Rhone, France. Many of van Gogh's best works were produced during his time in Arles. It was a time when van Gogh refined his evolving talents and incorporated the style of impressionism and color. This painting is in a private collection.
