This advanced fine-art cross stitch design, Mont St. Victoire, was developed from a painting done by French artist and Post-Impressionist painter, Paul Cézanne in 1887. Mont St. Victoire was one of Cézanne's favorite subjects, and he painted it in its various forms more than 60 times. He was fascinated by the rugged architectural forms in the mountains and created paintings from many different angles. This painting resides at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
