Henri Adrien Tanoux
Henri Adrien Tanoux (1865-1923) was a French artist who is relatively unknown today. However, he left an impressionable mark on the history of Orientalist Art through his many beautiful paintings. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he was a student of Leon Bonnat, one of the leading artists of the day. Tanoux was a very successful artist and exhibited works at the Salon of French Artists in Paris where he was an Associate, as well as at the Exposition Universelle where he received awards and honorable mention.
